Sarah runs regular Yoga Workshops and Restorative Yoga sessions in Worthing from 1.5 to 3 hours in length. These are generally scheduled on Friday evenings or Saturday mornings.
The Yoga Workshops cover various Yoga themes and offer an opportunity for you to :-
truly relax after the working week
devote some time to yourself
encourage a deeper yoga practice
explore specific Yoga topics
focus on breathing, meditation and mindfulness practices.
The Restorative Yoga sessions induce a deep body relaxation and the beauty of restorative yoga is that there is no muscular contraction involved. During a restorative yoga sequence we stretch, but relax fully into the stretch, so that tension can slowly be released and we often achieve more opening and flexibility in parts of the body that we perceive as tight by softening and relaxing in this way. We use props such as bolsters, blocks and blankets to support the body in different positions to help relaxation.
Restorative Yoga is accessible to all levels including those with no previous yoga experience.
In addition the practice of restorative yoga is a great help to anyone who is recovering from illness or injury, and it has many benefits to our body and mind as we experience deep rest within.
